Marcus Ward CTA, AIIT, ATT
Marcus has worked in VAT since 1982, firstly with Customs & Excise until 1989 and then as a Senior Manager with Grant Thornton in London. In 2003 hejoined Price Bailey, as a Director, to head up the VAT team and he now provides independent VAT advice for Marcus Ward Consultancy Ltd. He is available for special assignments, planning, health checks and audit assistance as required. Marcus is also a member of the VAT Practitioners Group, an Associate of the Institute of Indirect Taxation, an Associate of The Chartered Institute of Taxation and an Associate of the Association of Taxation Technicians. He is also the VAT member of the UK200 Group’s technical panel. He has lectured extensively (including to the CBI, the IoD, professional accountancy bodies and training bodies), and has written numerous articles for technical and trade publications. He has specific experience in the areas of; Land and property, international issues, not for profit organisations, partial exemption, TOMS and transaction support.
